The porcelain manufacturing company, IPEC, from Alba Iulia was awarded at the Forbes 500 Business Awards 2024, which took place on October 17. The Forbes 500 Business Awards Gala is the most important business event in Romania.

In the twelfth edition, the entrepreneurial spirit that persevered and was resilient regardless of challenges was awarded. Romanian entrepreneurs had to reinvent themselves and become more agile, more creative, more enterprising to face permanent changes, becoming stronger, braver and finding strong allies and partners.

The Forbes 500 Business Awards Gala is part of the Forbes Romania editorial project – FORBES TOP 500 – the most complex editorial project on the Romanian market dedicated to promoting the Romanian business environment and the best business top in Romania.

IPEC Alba Iulia is one of the largest producers of porcelain plates in Europe, making more than 1% of the plates in the whole world in Alba Iulia. The domestic manufacturer has gradually become one of the most efficient in the world, as it works with around 350 industrial robots and the latest production technologies. The plates reach all over the world, from Europe to New Zealand and Australia, to the USA and even to China.
